IM 21 AND HAVE BEEN SKINNY MY WHOEL LIFE< MY MOTHER AS WELL IS VERY SKINNY. I HATE IT! I GET PICKED ON ALL THE TIME, AND NOT TO MENTION ALL THE HEAVY GIRL GIVE ME DIRTY LOOKS, I DONT CARE HWAT PEOPLE THINK OF ME, BUT IM NOT THIS SMALL BECAUSE I WANT TO BE AND NO ONE UNDERSTANDS THAT! I HAVE TRIED AL THE SPECIAL DIETS WHERE I EAT MORE CALORIES THAN I BURN, OR EAT NUTS AND FISH AND MEET BUT IT JUST DONT WORK! I WAS TOLD WHEN I WAS YOUNGER MY BODY WAS STILL GROWING AND GIVE IT TIME, BUT IM 21 AND ITS STILL THE SAME, I HAVE TRIED GOING TO THE GYM AND WORKING OUT BUT I FEEL LIKE THE WHOLE PLACE IS LOOKING AT ME LIKE IM ONE OF THOSE GIRLS WITH AN EATING DISOPRDER WHOI IS A SIZE 0 AN STILL THINKS THERE FAT… IM AT A LOSS! THERE ARE ALL THESE DIETS FOR OVER WEIGHT PEOPLE BUT WHAT ABOUT PEOLE LIKE ME….

Well 2 weeks before school began (about 6 months ago) I made a plan to start working out. Basically, I worked out every day for about 2 hours on the treadmill only and I would consume probably around 1500-1800 calories each day. I would weigh myself at the end of the week and for those two weeks I lost around 18 pounds, which I thought was a lot. I had tried to lose weight the previous summer before that and I lost about 30 pounds in a month and a half, but I lost interest because I only worked out at home on the treadmill. The same thing happened when I started this school year: the treadmill got boring and the time I needed to put in for school got in the way because of the classes I was taking. But now, it’s second semester, and my schedule is really easy and my classes, not as hard, so I think I have time to work out. I’ve been vegetarian for 2 weeks now and I’m starting to drive, so I think I might get a gym membership, to avoid only working out on the treadmill at home.
What I want to do I work out in the mornings at home (probably from 5:30-6:00, because I start school at 7:00, and I get out at 2:30). Then work out again after I get from school. It’ll probably be another 2 weeks before I get my gym membership. I’m going to avoid foods that are high in saturated fat, and carbs. Then for the weekends, my brother’s girlfriend recommended this Hollywood diet drink. I tried it before before I started school in the fall and it really worked. I lost about 10 pounds in 2 days, however, I gained 2 pounds after that, which didn’t really matter, since I still lost 8 pounds, plus the weight I lost that previous week. What do you all think? Anyone know foods I should really avoid!? I’m going to avoid eating bread, pastas, things that have lots of carbs and such. I think school will help me out, since I won’t have my mind on food all the time.

I’m 16 years old and I’m starting to gain the average woman fat. I started gaining weight around the inside and outside of my thighs (not the front or back) and my lower belly. I also have started to get a so called “muffin top”. I don’t have alot but I don’t want it to get so bad that I can’t get rid of it. I’m gaining the weight so fast that I’ve got the beginning of stretch marks on my legs.
I don’t have much time to exercise, but I do have some. I don’t want to take any pills for weight loss or anything but I’m not opposed to taking vitamins or anything like that. I just need someone (intellegent) to tell me how I can lose this fat before summer and I would like to go down two sizes. When I get out of school I have more time, so anything will help! PLEASE tell me some things I could do to get my fat down. I took dance until i was 15 so I have a lot of muscle that makes me seem like I have alot of weight, and I’ll never be a 1-3 because of the muscle.

By the way - This isn’t a personal diet for me. It’s a question in some homework I have to do and I wasn’t completely sure which was best.

I’m 18 and 140lbs 5′9″ but I have a body fat percentage of 32%
I’ve been working out for 3 weeks (5 days a week - Monday and Friday is muscle focus. Tuesday and Thursday is 45 minutes of cardio. Wednesday is circuit) I know it takes a while to see a change but I weigh the exact same and I’m feeling discouraged. I normally eat yogurt and granola for breakfast, a salad or sandwhich and banana for lunch, some wheat thins for an afternoon snack and for dinner… Whatever mom is making! I only drink about 1 glass of water a day which I know I need to drink more but what else should I do?!? Is there a strict diet out there I can follow thts not just a fad diet? Is there a supplement I should be taking!? Please help

Well, I am running track this year and I eat really light and healthily now. Will running track help me lose a lot of body fat? And what is the best way low fat diet that will maximize my results. I know I need to eat complex carbs for meets and what not, but what way of eating will help me lose fat the best?
I dont mind strict diets.

Ok, so I’d like to lose fat off of my torso and inner thighs by May.
Is it possible? I’ve been lightly working out on my Wii Fit.. I do mostly the toning exercise.
The only junk food I have is a small cookie or a bag of chips at lunch… Gotta keep motivated
So any advice? Any exercises?
